But like every couple we had ups and downs. We talked about getting married and we couldn't see us with anybody else. It's been 6 months since we broke up and we broke up because she said she's too busy over work and college and she doesn't have time for a relationship or doesn't want one right now. She texted me on Christmas saying she loves me and wishes me and my family the best. Now her birthday is coming up in 2 days and idk if I should tell her happy birthday or stick to no contact? Shes not seeing anyone and neither am I. What should I do please help!
WonderWoman911 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Yes, you should tell her Happy BDay.Im quite sure she still cares about you, and loves you(from what she said in her text), and I'm sure you feel the same way. So I don't see any harm in sending a two word text.

Ask yourself, why are you in NC, are you trying to heal and moveon? Will this have any effect on your current emotional state? Negative or Positive? Did you respond to her text last Christmas? Why? Only you can answer these questions and I hope helps you decide what to do.

Well she did greet you last Christmas and told you she loves you... If your BU is more like amicable and you agreed to give each other space... Its a good thing. Thus the Christmas text. Expressing holiday cheer and her love. I see no harm if you text her.
