I'm not asking how long it takes you to be in a relationship but simply just aknowledging the fact that you might want her as a girlfriend one day. Because when you are dating someone, at some point you figure out that you would never want her as a gf or yes you do.
Van AZN Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I hate to be a turd, but the use of "girlfriend" is label that can be applied at almost any time during a relationships. I've known the gf tag used after the first encounter to first being used after 2 years of dating. So it's really up to the couple to determine when labels are appropriate. It's usually moment, maybe something she does that makes you say "I really like this girl and I can't wait to see where we are a year from now, 5 years from now, etc.." Is there more to your story? My boyfriend said from our first meeting he had a 'plan 'to make me his girlfriend, but asked me after 2 months .Other boyfriends have asked me after 3-4 weeks. However I do know of friends / friends of friends who have dated for months 5+ and then made it official.
