Is it wrong to wear a mini skirt on the first date??

Hey guys, I met a great guy at a bar last weekend and he has asked me out for more drinks this Saturday night. I was thinking of wearing jeans but it's gonna be really hot that night, and we're going to a bar so should I wear a mini?

 

I love my mini skirts; my legs are my best feature and teamed with a classy top it looks rocking. I just don't know if it's inappropriate to be wearing on the first date - I am not into one night stands or anything and I don't want this outfit to give the wrong impression.

 

Will he think I'm hot, or just up for it??

If your legs are as good as you say they are, yes he will think you are hot. Will he want 'some' on the first date? Yes, of course he will. So it's up to you...you want to keep him interested, but not put him off either.

In this day and age I don't think wearing a mini is inappropriate.(unless your close to 40- then you look like your desperately trying to hold on to days past). Wear it while you can girl!

I'm sure you look like a godess in miniskirt, but I think going with one in a bar is a little off. IT's like you really want to attract his attention, and you don't want to look like you're trying too hard, areyou?

 

I mean, in the end, do whatever makes you feel more confortable. From my personal experience I know that all men wanting to get some will interpret the little skirt as a big flag of "single and looking". IT gets annoying after a while. The attention, that is.

 

I just think that skirts and bars don't go together all that well. At least not in Europe .

Thanks for your reponses guys... I'm from Oz so there is a huge pub culture here and pretty much all the girls wear skirts because it gets so hot out. I don't think I would look like out of place wearing a mini in a bar!

 

I guess I just don't want this guy to think I'm desperate or trying too hard. But at the same time, I do want to impress. Argh, major dillema!!

 

Any more advice?
