JonjMie Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I find some things I do help me to forget, albeit briefly, would like to start with a few and see what else people do so that I might try them. 1. Go for a drive in the car, music on loud. 2. Log on to LS 3. Hot shower

bigtrouble Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I get most of them but what does filling your tummy and drinking milk do for you if that doesn't sound daft ? After BU, I was a wreck, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, I was a mess. Eating and Drinking milk just makes me feel I'm taking care of myself. Gives me a sense that I love myself along with a little bit of exercise.

Author JonjMie Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 I take night classes Exercise Read Meet up with friends Sleep....alot Hope that comes back to me soon, I've slept right through for the first time in 11 days, feel much better this morning, probably something to do with a date I went on with a half Spanish half Venezuelan girl last night, who wants to come over this morning at 11am for a cup of coffee
Halcyon Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 1. Exercise, lots of exercise. 2. Spending time with friends and family. 3. Reading, lots of reading about things I enjoy. 4. Mindfulness exercises. 5. Acceptance than some things in life cannot be changed. 6. Love yourself first, learn what you can from the past relationship. However know when the time for analysing is over and that is when it becomes all consuming obsession that affects every aspect of your life. 7. Learn to let go, life is too short to dwell on the past, live in the present and what tomorrow might bring.
