college gf and indecision

I've been with my girl for a year and 7 months but it's not the same anymore and I want out of the relationship. She's not willing to compromise on things that are important, such as living location. Everything is on her terms and my opinion is just not as important in her eyes.

 

Problem is though we signed up for all 4 same classes for the winter semester for college and now we can't change them. I feel like it would be really awkward and quite emotionally wrecking for both of us if I break up with her now. I don't find it morally right to lead her on any longer than I already am though as well.

 

Stupid me for signing up for the same classes as her but I'm stuck in this situation and I'm not sure what to do now. Regardless I want to break up so that's not going to change, just don't know how much longer I can keep playing this game and I don't like doing it either. Thanks:(

Are you sure there is no way you can change your classes? I know with my school I can switch even a few days after the start of the semester.

 

If not then sadly you'll have to put up with it =/ It's just one of those things

Depending on your emotional strength, breaking up with her earlier is better. Hopefully the awkwardness will only last until mid-terms. Obviously, don't study with her because that'll make things messy, but respect that it's an awkward situation for the two of you. Since you're keen on ending the relationship anyway, earlier would be better; because depending on your school system, if you wait until after the term, then that'll be around your 2nd year anniversary (1 year 7 Months + 5 month term = 2 years) and that'll just be hella awkward (and a waste of 5 months of emotional strain).
