What's the difference between being vulnerable and insecure?

So we all know that women like confident men. But does that mean he can't occasionally be vulnerable? Where do you draw the line? When does vulnerability go into insecurity?

They are two completely different things.

 

Vulnerability involves allowing yourself to be open to feeling the full range of human emotions, to allow yourself to care, to love, to be disappointed, to feel hurt. If you let yourself be vulnerable, you basically tear down the walls and let someone in.

 

Insecurity is a lack of self-love, lack of self-acceptance, a lack of self-esteem.
