Missinghim17 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I'm assuming most people meet at work? I didn't meet mine at work. I met mine at our kids school. Horrible, I know. I used to see him dropping off or picking up his kids when I was doing the same. Just curious as to anyone else who met in a different setting other than at work.

She researched where he worked when she got home, found his email address and emailed him offering to meet him when he traveled to her town. Kinda ick on both of their parts right? 1
nikki76 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 My now xAP is so called friends with my H. He was helping with the remodeling of our house and thats how our A began. Ive known him for 13 years. He stood up in our wedding. Shame on us, I know. It makes me sick thinking about it.

Rainbowlove Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 We met at work. She was new to the area and job and didn't have any friends. She was working for an awful woman. We became friendly. I had an opening in my department and hired her. 3 months later, I moved to a new job 60 miles away. We started having contact through IM and text and email, daily. At first, it was to help her learn the new job I had hired her for. The woman who took over as her boss, didn't know how to do her (XAP) job, so we talked daily and I answered work related questions and she supported me as I learned my new job. We leaned on each other during these transitions instead of our spouses. Work converstations turned into personal talk and sharing. Then conversations became all day long. End of story.

Knew of her about a year before we met. Once we met at school maybe three to four times it took off it took off into an EA.

Daisy2013 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Church, of all places. He is a deacon and adult Sunday School teacher and Children's Church leader. Also in choir together. We worked alongside each other in Children's Church for 10 years and were good friends...till he hit on me and I fell hook line and sinker. Sick, I know.
