In the last 3 years, I had three different guys that I later found myself being attracted to. I never really noticed them before until I noticed they were giving me attention. All three were good looking, IMO. They did the following:

-All stared at me more than the normal. This included stealing glances and 15+ second stares on too many occasions to count.

-They each showed jitteriness whenever they saw me and I was near.

-Guy #1 showed up to my work building twice. I work in a skyscraper building with a large atrium, and I saw him twice, each time looking at me from afar.

-Guy #2 got out of the bus and watched me walk to my car. He still looked at me even as I noticed him and drove off. He walked behind me at work as well even though he did not work nearby.

-Guy #3 got off the same stop as mine (and not his stop) and then basically followed me to my work place. He went in and out the door, but said nothing to me as I was right behind him. He didn't even hold the door for me. :p

I approached #1 and #2 directly after the incidents above. #1 turned out to be married and I found out #2 had a serious GF and is 10 years younger than me. I just saw #3 today. He's the one I've been wondering what the heck happened to in the last few months. After suddenly finding myself attracted to him, he disappeared and I finally saw him today, so I took the chance right away and sat in the next seat by him. He had his earbuds on before I sat next to him and he had it on during the entire bus ride. He never showed me one ounce that he was interested in me during this ride. He only looked up when I got off my seat for my stop.

So, WTH? Did I read all three wrong? From all of them, I swore #1 and #3 seemed attracted to me right away from things not described here, but no surprise, as soon as I do anything to show that I'm interested, they no longer act interested. I'm starting to think that I'm delusional.

As for guy #1, coincidence or stalking and creepy comes to mind. Why would you be interested in that?

Guy #2 - Thought you were pretty PERIOD. Doesn't mean he wants to go out with you. Guys look.

Guy #3 - Creepy/stalking? Just looking.

None of these things are indicators of interest in a woman for a date. They no longer act interested, because they weren't interested.

The only way you KNOW that a man is interested . . . is if they ask you out or tell you that. You're grasping at straws.

I would say #3 is a stalker type who is more comfortable stalking than doing anything about it, which is sometimes the case but can still be bad. #1 and #2 were looking from afar because they are otherwise committed and knew they shouldn't be doing it at all. Now they did not try to hit on you, so if one or the other should come up single, it might not be the worst thing if all they do is look but not touch when attracted to other women.
