Mandy26 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Hi all, I am struggling again. (if you read my initial thread). "He" liked my work anniversary date on linkedin. See I do not even use it. I only have seven contacts and only started it when he introduced me to it, and suggested it to me. "He" uses it extensively for networking and he is a successful businessman. Always looking for opportunities....so am I crazy for thinking this is just another way for him to get my attention? Or is this stupid breadcrumbs...
FancyFace Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Don't read much into this. If he really wanted to be with you, he would make it clear in no uncertain terms that that is exactly what he wants. As you rightly pointed out, its just breadcrumbs, hardly anything to get excited about so instead of going into a tailspin about this, block/delete him if you can and move on with your life. 2
RedButton Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 The anniversary would have prompted him, you get emails sent automatically saying things like 'Such and Such is XX years at XX Business!'. He probably saw it and blindly clicked 'like' on all of them, or just thought 'eh, wh not, and hit 'like'. I wouldn't say it's anything more than that.
Author Mandy26 Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Thanks, I am just feeling down of late. And it has made my reaction worse, this is the worst I have ever been. I feel stuck since each month post break up there is a breadcrumb here and there, and am struggling with moving on today. Why send me texts, so stupid. Simple ones, from I found your sweat shirt, to do you want the microwave, to Merry Christmas...obviously Im stuck in some kind of emotional baggage wanting this to be more... this sucks..
RedButton Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 If it's causing you grief you could try blocking the number etc? Have you tried asking him to not contact you even with little things because you need some time away from him? It could be a mis-guided attempt to try and be nice, but if it's sinister and he's trying to string you along then you'll find out soon enough and can block instead.
