nyfan1992 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 My girlfriend's birthday is coming up next week and I want to send her something to her apartment at school. We've only been dating for a few weeks so I think it's too early to get her anything serious or extravagant. I was thinking of sending her flowers but I want to do something more fun and less cliche. She's a fun girl and likes to drink so I thought maybe I'd send her a bottle of wine. I also looked for concert tickets for her favorite band but they're not on tour any time soon. Anyone have any suggestions? She's turning 22.
venusishername Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 That's sweet of you. I personally think a surprise flower delivery is very romantic. Include a handwritten card with the bouquet. I don't think it's cliché. It's an old standard for a reason! Women love it. As for the wine, I think that's a great idea too. When she gets her surprise delivery, she'll call you, then you can arrange to see each other, and you can then bring the wine. Good job! (I feel like a lot of men don't think like this anymore). 1

Don't have to get roses get something else like arrangement of sorted flowers in a stand. They use to sell large Birthday Cards as tall as 5 feet high. Unless your creative in graphic artist, you could make one at the campus your in. Media department should have laser plotter that can make something like this for you. So... flowers and the wine Then you, card and her gift (that's your choice to make) but make it cute though something you would think she would like. Cake with one Candle on it too. (if you want you can hire a few guys to sing happy birthday to her) when she answers the door for you. In any case do share the day with us here afterwards when you can!
