wakeupcal Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Just started dating a new man we were texting back and fourth I said I something about being lucky to date a such a nice man. He said," I'm only nice until you don't want me to be. Than I'm a different nice." Not sure what he meant and if I have the wrong idea I don't want to look like an idiot. Is this like a flirty type thing? or am I thinking about it all wrong. I don't want to say something too forward back and freak him out. What would you take this as meaning?

That is entirely too cryptic to venture any assumptions. I would say something like, I'm not sure what you mean, but I always want you to be the nice man you've been. See what he says back. My guess is that he means, he'll be a complete gentleman until you want to be intimate, then he will be a nice lover as well. But that's an assumption.
Author wakeupcal Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 Thats what I thought too but things are going good and I don't want to ruin it. I will ask for clarification. Sometimes I just get the wrong idea and assumptions kick my behind.
Michelle ma Belle Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hmm...I agree with Redhead14 in that this is far too cryptic to really venture a healthy guess BUT the way I read it has more to do with the whole idea that women tend to want a "nice guy" on the surface but deep down crave a "bad boy" especially in the bedroom. Perhaps he was just letting you know that he can be both if you give him the chance...?? Just my two cents
Assada Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Doesnt sound cryptic at all to me. It is a little bit on the freaky side. Were you guys having a sexual type of conversation? 1
LostOnes05 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Definitely agree with Assada...it sounds like a sexual innuendo. He doesn't want you to think that he is so nice that he doesn't have a wild side too. 1
d0nnivain Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I took it as sexual flirtation too. Let it slide. If you try to talk about it, the conversation will surely be awkward. Keep your eyes & ears open in case it wasn't sexy & instead was a warning that he's dangerous.
