Eternal Sunshine Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I now live in a smaller town and constantly see people that I know when out and about. In fact, the few men I dated from OLD (that didn't progress past 4 dates) - I have seen all of them when walking around town. Am I supposed to stop and chat to them? Is it rude to just say "hey" and keep on moving even if they seem to be stopping? It's kind of weird since they are essentially strangers so there is nothing to catch up on. This never happened when I lived in a town of 3 million people....
BluEyeL Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 You don't need to stop and say hi. I live in a small town as well and I see people I've dated for 1-4 dates and we don't really talk. Some would just say hi or wave but that's it. 2
Conners Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Saying hi or not depends on how the fling ended I guess. Most of the time I would say hi. However my friends older brother who I liked for a long time and had a fling with who then got a girlfriend which I was unaware of and continued said fling.. Saw him at the car wash a couple of months ago as I was driving out and we locked eyes for a second and I didn't know what to do so I flipped him the bird and drove off. Funny but I regret it, should of just ignored him. 1
