Though I missed her a lot, I decided that I had to move on as quickly as I could. I'm not the best socially, but I've decided to meet new people. However, I feel like I'll never meet someone like her again. This makes me afraid, and I lose my motivation for meeting new people. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Forget trying to move on by finding someone. One day, when you are least noticing, you will find the one ! 1

Your ex is a completely ordinary individual just like anybody else, except in your head, where you have convinced yourself that she is extraordinary and remarkable. Blow all that pixie dust and tinsel off her, and see her as she really is. 4
