Transition from having fun to calling him mine?

So I have been seeing this guy for quite sometime now. I'm actually falling for him. But were not exclusive. I would really like to call him my BF. I have dropped hints to him that I would but I think he thinks we're still having fun. How do I ask him to be my boyfriend? Should I be the one to do it? Is that too pushy/needy? But the way he kisses me, makes me feel safe and that he really likes me. I sound like a little school girl.

You know one thing, from a guy's perspective, we are tired of making the 1st move. Sometimes, we want to have a break. Why not you tel him straight, ask him whether he loves you or whatever. Be straight, but don't be desperate. And don't put in high hopes. That's one really important point I've learnt, because if he rejects you, you'll feel so hurt. I'm not saying that he will, but it's just a possibility... But yeah, i hope he'll accept you gladly. Well, he kissed you... obviously he wants you... Don't be afraid.... Wait, i think give him some time... untill it's been really long, then you start a move> I'm just wishing you all the best!

I would ask him straight out if he wants more or that you want to try being exclusive. Let him know you're beginning to develop feelings and see how he reacts. If he feels the same way, hopefully he'll tell you. The longer you keep having "fun" with him, the stronger your feelings are gonna get, and eventually it will hurt if he never wants anything more.

I dont know if I'm that forward to ask him what the deal is. If i do, what if it pushes him away b/c he doesn't want it right now?

IHNFC~ i would think you might know what his reaction would probably be if you mentioned that you did not want to see anyone other than him, at least i would hope so, if you like him soo well.
