Jord11 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I've been in nc over 2 years, all feelings are gone so I decided to send her a friend request just to be curious to see if she would accept and it went to request sent back to add friend, sometimes they don't always come back
Light Breeze Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Most of the time, brother, they don't come back most of the time. 4
Ordinaryday Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Not just sometimes, I would say MOST of the time. In short, if someone is dumping you they have weighed up the situation from all possible angles and decided that they would be happier without you in their lives so they choose to get rid of you. Yes, of course some dumpers come to believe they made a mistake and come crawling back but I would say this is incredibly rare. most of the time you never ever hear from the dumper again. and even if you do hear from the dumper again 99% of the time it is just a useless "hi how are you?" type breadcrumb designed to ease their guilt. I think it is best for all dumpees to move on like they will never ever see the dumper again. it is best that way, no false hope, and odds are you wont. 2
coolheadal Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Why in the world do you think they would want you back after 2 years or more. It's over for a reason! Move on and get over it! That was in the past? Are you living in the NOW! (tell me yes) Or are you still stuck in the PAST! (oh boy are you really?)
Ieris Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) I think lots of people hold onto a little bit of hope because it can help soften the blow during the first stages of a break up but reality will sink in sooner or later x Edited January 9, 2015 by Ieris
