Hey guys - hope you're doing well.

Ok so it's been one year and a half since I split from my ex-girlfriend, she did the splitting because of her career etc. It was fine at the time, a bit disheartening but I got over it.

I was wondering of rekindling convo with her, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for the best way to approach it via email?

Thx in advance :)

You're not over it. If she doesn't respond or tells you to not contact her, back to square 1. Whenever I see posters that say its been a year or more since, I usually think to myself to leave well enough alone. Think about it. She dumped you for career purposes? She doesn't even have the heart to see how you're doing?

This isn't even a situation where you cheated on her, or beat her. She left for career purposes, and still hasn't contacted you?

i agree with tikay, don't approach it. she dumped you over some BS (career purposes means i'm not that into this and nothing else) and hasn't contacted you (we assume). no point trying to waste time on this, it's a losing battle in the most positive light. go find someone else with no history.
