LoveOneAnother Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 My boyfriend parties a lot and has a lot of female friends. Sometimes, I worry that he might cheat on me. How would I know? I figure that SOMEBODY would tell me about it, right??? Or is it really, "the wife is always the last to know?" How do you know for sure. What signs are you to look for?
lisa_1980 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 In my experience I don't think people like to be the one to split a couple up. They risk losing their friends - shoot the messenger and all that. I know of a guy who isn't married to his girlfriend but they live together and have 2 children. He's been cheating on her for years, you'd think that she must know but I think she ignores the signs (ie he's out all the time! and they're constantly arguing). He's even been sleeping with her best friend for the past year!! Everyone knows about him - his sister, friends, her so-called friends but no one would dare say anything because he would make sure they regretted it. He's slept with a lot of women behind her back, but he won't leave her because of the kids.

Is he doing anything that would make you suspicious of him? Has his attitude or behavior changed at all? Does he do anything like act nervous when his cell phone rings and then when you asked him who called he says wrong number or something like that?

tyreas Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 My roommate cheated on his current girlfriend for over a year. They are getting married Oct 2006 and I have kept that from her the whole time. I live with both of them and have never thought about telling her. There is no chance of you finding out from any of his friends, guys look out for guys. Drop in on one of his parties late into the night as a surpirse. You'll find out first hand if he is cheating. Guys are sneaky about it(at least the smart ones). I myself have never cheated but have been tight lipped about all of my friends that cheat.

Cant up and leave in the middle of the night. Hes also a PI, Im sure he of all people, knows how to be sneaky enough about it. Thanks for the replies.
