banini_jeque Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I've started online dating more seriously, and it's hard. You meet these girls that you don't even know, and you start going on dates. It feels weird, and also since I'm still hurt from my first serious relationship at 31 (yeah, yeah, laugh it up), my feelings are too cloudy to really commit myself to exploring a relationship yet. So, my idea was to just meet a bunch of girls and let them all friendzone me, and then see if one of them just clicks or if I meet one of their friends and something grows from there. Any thoughts?
Popsicle Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 You should have no problem. Just tell them that you're looking for more friends. Girls love male friends. FYI, though, it never "just clicks" after you've been friendzoned.
toscaroscura Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How about you just stop dating and heal up? Otherwise, you're just wasting those women's time. 5
Author banini_jeque Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Well, either thats false, or, I would just say that I had feelings and being in the friendzone wasn't going to work for me anymore. If they found they had feelings too, they would go with it, if not, then it wasn't going to be what I wanted anyway.
hoping2heal Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Once you are friendzoned you probably are not going to be seen as more than that. Confusingly enough, this is different from being friends first and then progressing to a relationship. Be honest with the girls that you are still reeling from your last relationship and not emotionally available to comitt to a relationship at this point. Well, you'll probably get a ton 3
eleve82 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I agree with one of the posters above. if you're not ready to explore a relationship, please just do everyone a favour and stay off the market!
Danda Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Are you trying to trick the universe, OP? Like, gosh, I sure would be pissed if I won the PowerBall tomorrow. 1
