Author dl02 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 An update: I spoke to her today (in the company of other people). She looked at me shyly (why?) but mostly didn't look. I got an 'aww' reaction. She then mentioned her boyfriend and that he's changed their mattress This is the woman who was showing very positive signs before Christmas. So positive it was obvious. She potentially was showing positive signs today too? I walked out of their almost certain I was to back off and no longer care for her. Months of interest vanished on my part. Now I'm regretting this. 1
melodymatters Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Yeah, time to move on. We women use the "mention our boyfriend" thing a lot to let people, or someone in particular know that we are not available/interested. Who knows, maybe they weren't getting along over christmas, maybe it's new, either way it's irrelevant, the hunt continues. I wish you the VERY best of luck in treating your epilepsy. Be careful, it's so dangerous when you don't know where or when you are going to seize !
Author dl02 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Thank you. Why act nervous (and smiling). The flirting was a lot less prominent. There were no signs of her having a boyfriend prior to Christmas. She also mentioned she enjoyed our discussions? Why the change?
melodymatters Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This will serve you well your whole life : " IT DOESN'T MATTER WHY, IT JUST IS. " People will cheat, break our hearts, propose and then not show up at the altar and yes, show interest and then change their minds. The BEST gift we can give ourselves is to not personalize it and move on to finding someone who WILL hopefully meet our needs, match our interest level, etc. Whatever the reason people stop loving us or showing interest is their issue and there will never be anything we will be able to do about it. That's why it's healthy in the beginning, interest stages to not invest too much and be more than ready to jump off and onto the next " train" no harm no foul.

But why is she still showing these signs of attraction? It was the first encounter after a two week holiday period. Prior to that we seemed to be great together.

Now I'm regretting this. There was this girl at our chemistry lab and there was this other guy who she tried to get him interested, they used to chat and whenever she saw him with his, she would come over to take him away from us.. and the last day at school I heard her talking to her friend and mentioning her boyfriend after she gave up from that guy I was like Really? Now you mention your boyfriend
Author dl02 Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Anyone? I'm curious. From previous posts, does she sound interested, including this example?
