I'm trying to create this character image for myself of a bad-boy nerd with a spiritual side. Can that work?

Attraction is very subjective, but I can't help but get a like a comic book character thing going on in my brain now. Like,

Agnostic Anderson - Bad Boy of the Nerd Squad

Crime-Fighting Outfit: tight black leather with hipster glasses

Super Power: Can win any strategy or trivia game while high on cocaine.

Weakness: Has to be high on cocaine. But this is what makes him a badass.

Origin: A remote planet known only as Identity Crisis.

Archenemy: Overlord Friendzone of the infamous PUA Gang.

But my warped-ass brain aside, just be yourself, only with a little more going for it and a little less analyzing everything to death.

Your personality will "work" with the right woman if you just have the guts to go for it, and your personality is way more than 3 adjectives anyway.

when you say trying to create a character...do you see something in that that doesnt gel? you shoul dbecoem an actor and fill that niche if you desire to be a character....

if you have to try .....to be someone...you eventually will fail to put across sucessfully your desired persona because it isnt who you are...any woman with an ounce of brain function will figure you out....especially bad ass nerdy women with a spiritual side they will have you pegged ......women who can tell you the movie and what is goign to happen before it happens....due to logical progression and or character development.....those types of women....nerds with intuition(aka spiritual )...deb

Watch all four seasons of Angel. He has some brawn to back up his book-reading intellect, but his character is the first thing that immediately popped into my head.

I think it can work...

I consider myself a BBB = Beauty, Brawn, and Brains....

I know, you'd think that you can't have all of those cuz with beauty, do you really have to have brains? Guys will do things for you. Shoot, you don't even have to have brawn, cuz again, guys will do handi-stuff for you.

And yea, with real brains comes some the trade-off of not having social skills, right? Well, yeah, I believe I'm shy and not one of the "normals"...but, I believe I'm not like "Revenge of the Nerds" socially awkward, and I can come out of my shell when needed. I can give presentations, instruction, etc and while I'm pooping in my pants, people will tell me how great it came out.

Now, I consider myself an average lookin' chick. But, I can doll up and look cutesy when I'm ready. Also, the brawn? I work out a alot and I'm a strong chick. Sometimes I surprise myself and others when they see me lift or move things or when I do competitions.

I'm not sure if you're looking for some examples on TV or in real life for you to model after? Or, that you just want to know if in real life if a person can be the three B's?

BTW, I also am attracted to guys that have the BBB. I like a handsome guy, who is strong, and smart enough to make me feel stupid...lol.

I don't think you are out of the mainstream at all with your desire for a BBB (Beauty, Brawn, and Brains) man. lol Lots of people want good coverage on the desirable traits spectrum with their bf/gf. Since you are a BBB you certainly are entitled to desire someone likewise.

If it's fake and something you're trying to pretend to be it will have no substance behind it and will be pretty unattractive.

Lol....

I forgot about the "spiritual" side...

Yes, on top of the BBB, I have some religious beliefs. Some people can't put how I can be who I am, yet have certain religious beliefs and practices.

I mean, I dress pretty "prudish", but I have my "club" wear, "cutesy" clothes, casual clothes, and lots of dirrrty lingerie ;)

Depends on how talented of an actor you are.

We watch movies in theaters and on tv or even musicians, people fall in love and develop crushes with people on a screen based on the character they are playing or because of the lyrics or their songs or talent, and nothing actually representative of the actual person day to day, but the like they image...much of that can work in the dating world/life as well.

Of course the problem with this is, if you're not being yourself to a degree...then you'll feel obligated to be this person you are always not and always know the person is only into you for the image not who you really are...or they will see through it and think you're a douche or a fraud.

Either way, by the time they figure it out you'll have gotten laid if that's what you're looking for...just depends on your own acting ability, but a lot of guys do this for the temporary romance, and they fine-tune that image with experience for seduction purposes.

He sounds like a breakdown waiting to happen... Nerd vs bad boy vs spiritual.... Aren't they all at odds with each other?

They already exist. They are called hipsters. Their spirituality is stifled by oppressive society, yet they spend hundreds or thousands on hair products, and sleeve tattoos that are never finished. They hang out at small neighborhood cafes, quaint record stores, and Brooklyn.

Sure. What hairstyle and accessories are you going to go for to pull it off?

Hipsters?

No way....

My opinion of hipsters usually consist of mindless peeps (always protesting something w/o knowing for real "why") who are so frail and weak that he coffee and energy drinks are the only thing keeping their heart beating...so definitely not someone with brains or brawn.

Worst about hipsters, IMO, is they dress like bums, have poor grooming - yet wanna spin that off as some sort of unique style when all they are doing is following a "crowd" - while they want to distinct themselves from the world.

And, I'm not sure if hipsters believe in "a" superior being (i.e. a God). So, no spirituality there.

I hate hipsters next to hippies. Actually, I'm an "Equal Opportunity Hater", I hate everyone. I got enough hate to go around.

Today at the gym it hit me....and I've thought about this character for the longest, but somehow couldn't think of him for this thread!!!

Bane, Tom Hardy's character in Batman is NOT what a combo of brains and brawn should be.

While I don't like beefy guys, I'd do Tom Hardy as Bane. I love Tom Hardy....Now, I'd have to put a bag over his head. Not cuz of the creepy mask. I can do the creepy mask. I can stare at the creepy mask even during sex....

What I can't stand is how he talks. He sound like the monopoly guy. He sound like a whiny combo of a nerd, braniac, and a snob. So, couple that voice with that body....NO GO.

Nerds and steroids do NOT mix. That's why I don't get too buff. I like to be lean and toned.

Tom hardy any day of the week. Fancied the pants off him as bane though the voice creeped me out.

I don't understand what OP is looking for...advice for an actual fictional character because he is writing a book or something, or a persona he wants to adopt to get a girl?

What happened to the good old days when people could find a personality in a bottle? Granted the hangovers would be a bitch but damn just trying to understand this thread is giving me a headache anyways.
