Im 16 204lbs and im 5'11...

I recently did a BMI count over the internet an it said i was like one point away from being obese. I dont know how this is because im actually kind of fit. I weight lift.. but my muscle is covered by a layer of fat and the only muscle you can see on me are my arms, my arms look like im a hulk or something.

Im wondering how i could lose more weight in the gut and around my back area.. Lifting justs eems to put muscle under my fat and not come through

Just cardio I think. I love the eliptical trainer burns 2x the calories the treadmill does. Always have to incorperate cardio with weight training. Or so I hear.

Good luck :bunny:

All you do is running. My sister had the same problem. She started running and she lost a lot weight.

Start with couple minutes and try to make it 30 minutes in couple months. You'll se it will help you a lot...

Do you play any sports? If not, first try incorporating some recreational activities that you enjoy into your schedule. If you are already doing that, then either the intensity or duration of the exercise is not optimal for losing weight. You would then need to set aside time just for cardio exercise designed for fat loss, such as walking, jogging, swimming, etc. Do something you enjoy so it's something you can keep up with, since you may already be fairly busy with your lifting.
