are there any LTR where both partners spend almost 24/7 with each other?

my current relationship is extremely clingy, and we are over each others houses or going on dates or to the gym almost every day, and if we are not out with each other, we are on skype with each other.

is this extremely unhealthy behavior that will lead to our demise or can it work if two people really enjoy each others company?

things are very good now, but i worry about the future if we might get sick of each other etc.

hope LS members can share some experience/insight into this issue

You'll inevitably need things and friends outside of your relationship to occupy your time. Being codependent is not a good thing, it's unhealthy.

Ultimately, no it will not last that way - and if it does it's not healthy for either of you.

Even though my ex was really abusive. I was a really clingy person and wanted to hang out 24/7 because I was afraid of losing her to another man. In turn, it was me who broke up with my ex because she had way to many expectations and wanted some space which at that time I couldnt handle. I was the guy who texted 50 times and trust me it gets old for the other person. Always blowing up there phone and being with them 24/7 would get on anyones nerve unless you have a solid relationship.

I finally ended mine a year ago because of my abusive ex. The texting and wanting to be with someone followed into the next 7 woman I dated and they all wanted to run for the hills. Now that I have not been dating a year and if I got back into dating, I would never be with someone 24/7 or send them 50 texts. If they are really interested they will hangout with you when you guys both have time, but still keep distance.

I guess what I am trying to say is a good or bad relationship no one can survive long hanging out with each other 24/7 and texting more then 5-10 times a day. It gets the other person un-interested and they don't miss you and arnt excited for you to return.

Clingy relationships don't survive because the clingy person smothers the other one. If you have made a joint decision to spend all this time together, then it should be OK. You might get sick of each but hopefully you can pull back gradually.

I suspect however that you are young. What's going to become a problem is when real life cuts down on all this time you have together. At some point you have to go to work etc.

If you both enjoy this level of togetherness, it can absolutely last. It's when one person is irrationally clingy due to personal insecurities having nothing to do with the other that kills a relationship. Loving being together all the time sounds great as long as you're both enjoying it.
