A few years ago, I remember going on a movie date with this guy that I had a crush on. During the movie we chatted for a bit, asked the usual questions. Then after he said, "If I didn't have this going on tonight, I would have just stayed home." Thought that was rude. Just curious if anyone's first dates were similar.

I don't understand how that is rude at all.

You name it. Women have said all kinds of things to me including implying that they could not see me dating certain types of women (races and ethnicities), saying that I looked like movie actors who were like comic relief character actors, and that I look like a nerdy occupation like an engineer (even though I was fashionably dressed). There's tons more.

It's probably questionable how many of those were actually dates but they were one on one.

I take notes on what offends me so I remember to never say that to another person, whether date, friend, acquaintance, mailman, etc.

I don't see how you thought that was rude. It's a lot better than saying he would've been out with some other girl instead. . .

Anyway, I haven't had many rude things said to me but I've had a few done to me on a date. I actually have a thread on that somewhere around here.

Anyway, when I was about 22 I had a guy invite me out to some bar. We were talking and I wasn't drunk but the more he spoke the more I realzied something was off about what he was saying. Half of it was cryptic and/or didn't make sense and the other half was just...weird or really invasive. He as very interested in my financial affairs and wanted to know if I had any large or elaborate tattoos or birthmarks. Which was quite odd.

Annnnnywho, long story short he was a wannabe pimp trying to "recruit" me if not for street work then amateur porn .

I really can't remember anything bad a guy has said on a first date....maybe more actions such as groping or kissing with their tongue playing hockey with my epiglottis.....i felt quite disrespected on a few first dates and that to me was ...yep bad first dates...not enjoyable..deb

Ha Ha! Some date that turned out to be.

For me I once took a girl out to the beach and we walked pretty far down the jetty. As we were sitting looking at the waves I said something like, "Nicole, I would really like to get to know you better." She turned to me and said, "Well I don't want to get to know you better. "Needless to say the drive back to her place to drop her off was very awkward.

A year or so later she tried to add me on LinkedIn of all things.

:lmao: That was mean but really flipping funny. And oh of course her name is Nicole. In my experience, girls with Nicole as any of their names are usually...well, bitches.

Did you tell him that you have yet to see plastic surgery improve anyone?

I swear the nerve of some people. I've actually had girls who bullied me in school try to add me on facebook. If I could reach through the screen and slap them I would.

 And I thought I was bad with women. Some people's arrogance never fails to surprise me.

She literally asked me if I could do her a favor and be her "proctor" and admitted that was the reason she agreed to go on the date with me. I felt pretty stupid.

What's wrong with that? For some people staying home is big.

i think on a second (and final date), it was something along the lines of "you're really pretty, but there are other girls much better looking." gee, thanks.

Holy Toledo! That happened to me once. We weren't on a date but a friend of mine had a little get together in the hills and I met this plastics guy there. We were just chatting about the industry in general until he went all Christian "tell me what you don't like about yourself" Troy and talked about what wonders he could do for my nose and flanks.........

Ah, bless.

This reminds me of a movie. I don't mean to laugh, I'm sure it felt awkward but just reading it sounds hilarious.

Bad enough. Even worse, a NON-plastic surgeon telling me what body part changes I needed to look like a model. And that was a guy who I found out too late was stalking me and then basically date raped me, but instead of getting into a fight, I acquiesced (didn't even have a phone at the time and he wouldn't leave and blocked the door.) And when he said that it was the next time I accidentally ran into him out somewhere. And I can't be sure, but I think he may be who doped my drink two months later, but he was definitely present at that hangout trying to talk to me when I suddenly became overcome. Fortunately, I let someone else drive me home puking who stayed with me. And now that I think about it, someone did come knocking that night, but we didn't answer the door.

He had the nerve to come into my record store, and I confided to a male friend/coworker the abbreviated version, and he "had a talk" with him outside :):) Never saw him again!

iv had the girl tell me "remember one thing for the future, you are not that good looking" and so unfortunately iv taken that to heart and now remind myself every day I'm not good looking and not to approach women out of my league which i obviously know are better than me

i don't think iv had anything bad said to me apart from that. iv been ignored and spent the whole night listening to another language which i thought was rude and ignorant.

most of my dates the girls have been polite:)

I'm 5'10" 176 pounds and its muscle, but I wore an over sized shirt to see how shallow she was. I found out.
