Precisely a year ago I made a thread about breaking NC and wanting to meet with my XMM. He didn't want to and I was hurting so much. This year I have tried to move on...with mixed results. I broke NC a couple of times, and he broke it once. I was getting upset about pictures of him and his W on FB, and he was still in my mind. I tried dating, but I guess the men could sense I wasn't ready...and that's also true.

Some days ago I broke NC again. I had a bad night, I just got dumped by a man, who I really wanted to see again, and I contacted XMM. He replied, and we texted for a while. I was getting pathetic and desperate, but the day after I was ok and we texted again and finally closed it all. We wished eachother all the best and agreed that we can't see eachother again...not because we don't want to, but because it will hurt us. I'm ok with that. Actually I feel so peaceful inside and like I finally can leave this behind. And I have faith in that there's something better waiting for me.

It took me a long time to move on, and I'm still not ready for a new man, but I'm ready to leave XMM behind and wish him well and acutally mean it.

Happy New Year to all of you...

I understand what you are going through. A lot of people think that no contact is the best option, but you have to stick to it 100% without faltering whatsoever. If you have broken it though, there is still hope. I put some info up at textyourexnow.com that will give you great info on sending the PERFECT text to him that'll guarantee a response if you follow the directions.

Just hang in there! It's a new year which means it'll be a new you! If you don't want to break no contact, really stick to it and remind yourself of it every day.

But if your sending the perfect text, wouldn't that initiate contact tho? Unless it's about letting them know you'll tell there spouse if they ever contact you again I can't see it helping. I'll check it out tho.
