Toodaloo Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Im on a budget so my max is two dates a month lol Love it! I am not rich but I have a roof over my head, a warm comfortable home, food in my belly, expensive pets that are all well looked after (too well, as the blinking things will not die despite it being many years past their sell by date!!! That is a joke by the way!!!). My car is sound if old. I am clean and have clothes on my back, I refuse to pay full price so I get good quality clothes in the sales that will last me a while. Some of the shirts I wear are over 20 years old and no one notices! I have enough left over to have an active social life and go out and do things. I have enough to be generous to the people I care about. So no - I do not go out drinking very Friday and Saturday night. But I am up early to go off Segway racing or tree climbing or hiking or out for a meal or to the cinema or cycling or to the theater... When people moan about not having money its usually because they waste it on things that are quickly forgotten about or are secret savers who just want you to pay so they don't have to. Having been in massive debt, worked hard and paid the whole lot off I would rather date someone who is happy to say "I don't want to spend that much here is an alternative" than someone who just throws it on a credit card...
bnx Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 People who are always broke need to get up and do something about their situation. The only person anybody can blame is themselves.
amaysngrace Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Do you believe they should be dating or focus on getting involved their finances together?? This goes more so for Men but woman as well? I think getting your finances together should be the priority. However, sometimes people need an incentive bigger than themselves to look towards the future and help get the ball rolling. So I guess it's really up to each individual situation.
