mortensorchid Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 That's sad that you have this issue with the ex situation. I was in the reverse situation where I was the sane one and a bf and his new gf who he dumped me for and has been with ever since are both trash and deserve each other. But I digress, your situation ... I think the question is not "should I or shouldn't I?" about the old gf. You said so yourself that she's a psycho and you want to be with the new gf. If you no longer wish to have contact with someone, the easiest thing to do is to block them on all social network sites, change your email address, phone numbers, screennames, etc. And then it's DONE. I learned the hard way not to let others back in because they will continue to pull nonsense on you somehow. Nevermind your new gf's feelings, do YOU want to keep suffering? It sounds and feels self centered, to be sure, but it's for the best for all parties.
whichwayisup Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Say, "My girlfriend of 8 months." She's not new anymore... Good that you deleted the ex. No point in contact anymore since you two are over and not friends.
Els Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I"m obviously in the minority here but I don't see a problem with photos of exes on FB... you actually have to go digging to see older photos anyway so they wouldn't just be on display. And most people only allow friends to see photos so they are not on public display either. One of my male friends still has photos with his ex-wife on his FB, as well as photos of his current gf. The current gf obviously doesn't mind. Thing is, this thread isn't just about photos (though I do agree the title was misleading). When you read it you find out that he blocked his ex from FB because she was constantly sending him messages about wanting to come over to his place. Of course his gf wouldn't stand for that, and he did the right thing anyway by blocking her.
TB Rhine Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Be prepared for this girl trying to keep you on a VERY short leash in the future. Not letting you hang out with your friends, etc. Fair warning.
