kolleamm Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 So I started talking with this woman online. She tells me she has to go after a few texts and says maybe well meet up sometime. I asked her when, and she said she's free Sunday. Apparently we've set a time to meet now. What do you think? A woman who says shes busy and has to go yet changes her mind and accepts a date she initiated after turning it down. Good or bad? Waste of time? Thanks in advance

In the story, it's not clear where she turns it down.
Author kolleamm Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 when she said she had to go and maybe well make plans sometime, I was thinking REJECTED
Teraskas Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Hmm, not too sure. Either she was multi-dating and the guy didn't follow through, or something else she had planned was thwarted. (for all we know it could be a night out with her girls, etc.)
DivorcedDad123 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Sounds like she was busy and whatever she had to do she couldnt do and text. Maybe she was driving? Give her the benefit of the doubt. Sounds like you need to make date plans for sunday and let her know what they are. 1

Author kolleamm Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 We agreed for Sunday morning at some bubble tea place, since I told her getting cofee seems to cliche. But I guess I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and post what happens tomorrow. I just thought that someone saying "sure I would love to set something up but I have to go now" was a bad thing, strangely enough after I replied back with when she set something up.
BlueIris Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 You’re being too negative. She was busy and had to go. She suggested meeting. She set a time. And despite her initiative and positivity, you’re now going to “give her a chance.” The problem lies not in your stars but in your self.
FitChick Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Call her and actually talk to her, saying you want to confirm the time and place and make her a priority on your schedule. And how you are really looking forward to meeting her. If you get voicemail say the same thing. 1

Author kolleamm Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 So, what happened? It went great! Probably one of the best dates I've ever had to be honest. I originally planned to stay for about an hour but we extended it to a little over two hours and we planned a million things we would do as soon as she comes back in a week from vacation. The conversation was great and we even laughed off awkward moments of silence. The date ended with me accidentally making her drop her shake in the parking lot and spilling it everywhere which was kinda funny. Really went good finally. 1
