I know this girl for half a year, about three months ago we agreed to be exclusive, and right now we sleep with each other, meet whenever we can, which is almost everyday, text a lot in the meantime, dating, holding hands, acting jelous, well, I dont know, its basically a relationship.

But were not officialy in one. Should I ask her for a formal relationship? How should i do this?

If you are not in a relationship than what is it?

So you are asking the equivalent of "So I'm already driving on the highway trying to get to a destination, how do I start the car?"

Well, its more like that I never asked her to be with me, and we never talked about entering a formal relationship.

Yes you did. Three months ago when you talked about being exclusive. Although you may not have used the word relationship you did in fact have the conversation & committed to being in one.

Congratulations.

If you don't believe me, the next time to introduce her to someone say, This is my GF [fill in name]

This might be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask. If agreeing to be exclusive does not constitute it as a formal relationship, then what does?

Don't get weird about it, but you do need to bring it up.

How about being cheesy with something like "Hey ___, feel my shirt." "Oh, that's nice." "Isn't it?! You know, it's made out of boyfriend material."

Just start bringing up the boyfriend/girlfriend labels in a chiding and confident way. That's what my ex and I did, and eventually someone cracked (him, I think) and said "I'm your boyfriend and you're my girlfriend, right?" and I said yes. Fun, flirty, no pressure.

Ask her out on a second "first date". On said date, as her if she'll be your girlfriend. Problem sovled.

Cornball I know, but there is an intersection between cornball and sexy. I think it is called Hugh Grant.

OP -- google on "stages of commitment" you will probably find something. Sounds like you're ready to go to the "next stage" whatever that is.
