BobbyS95 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I’ve been talking to her for 4 months, but we aren’t anything official. Her birthday is in a couple days and Christmas is next week. I have no idea what to get for her, so I hope you all could give me some ideas. She Likes: Disney (especially Frozen, Tangled, and Finding Nemo) Batman Fall Out Boy Cats/Puppies Cooking Running/Jogging Dark Chocolate M&Ms (But only the red ones) Science Blankets (she’s always wrapped up in one) I’m sure there are a lot more that I can’t think of right now, so I’ll update it as I think of more. I doubt I will be seeing her on her actual birthday because we are both insanely busy with finishing up school/finals, so I plan to give her the gift the next time we hang out (probably this weekend). Also, she for some reason HATES her birthday and holidays in general, and has specifically asked me to not get her anything and to even forget she has a birthday. I’m still going to get her something, but I would like to keep it somewhat inexpensive (so she can’t yell at me for spending too much) and small in size, so I can hide it in my jacket or backpack. I guarantee if she sees me show up at her house with a present she won’t let me in, so I figure while we’re hanging out I could just randomly pull out the present and give it to her then.
preraph Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Wow, she hates all that, so I'd tread lightly. She might be serious. I think I'd go with a very small gift bag of only the red M&Ms you put together for the birthday and then maybe a couple of movie passes for Christmas -- and hope she invites you.
todreaminblue Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 give her something old, give her something blue, give her a gift, you would think she would like just from you make it a gift from your heart is what you have to do.....doesnt need to cost anything take her to her favourite place, gift giving has no end it isnt a race, a simple card with words from you, is maybe all you really need to do...best wishes...deb
Gloria25 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If she gets upset for you for buying her a gift, I think that's a bad sign. While I'm not a fan of the holidays, I've learned to be gracious when people buy me stuff. Now, I'll still say something like 'aww, you shouldn't have'. But, I don't like get mad at them. 1
d0nnivain Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 For Christmas I would get her a plastic candy cane filled with red & green M&M's. They are about $1 at WalMart. For her birthday maybe a small calendar featuring one of the things she likes.
