newlyborn Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 i think you should take some time and savor the energy, the intent, and the content of the email. your ex left you in such an awful way. what if you could take this email (and not that phone call three months ago) as his final words to you? whether your ex is sincere or not is less relevant, i think, than the likelihood of success if the relationship were rekindled. you know so much more about your ex's character, his capacity, his circumstances in life. you can make a more informed, less oxytocin-driven, choice. looking at the situation from some distance, do you see a reasonable chance for an enduring partnership? 1 Link to post Share on other sites
