frozengirl Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 My friend who's 25 going on 26 and is dating a 37 year old guy, have been together for 1-2 years now. Her and I talked recently and I had told her about me going ice skating, I told her, she should try it out with her guy. She says "He's 37 he'd be afraid of falling down and everyone laughing at him because he doesn't know how to skate." 1. A LOT of people don't know how to ice skate. 2. A LOT of people fall down and everyone laughs who cares? So my friend says "I don't want to be the only one skating, I'd look like an idiot if I am skating and my guy is standing on the side lines watching. So I don't want to go ice skating alone." She's said this same thing about other cases, like Six Flags theme park, her guy doesn't like roller coasters, but you can still go and enjoy each other's time, just let her go on the rides while he waits? I don't get why my friend would go and deny certain activities just because her guy doesn't want to take part in it. What would you do?
Tonic Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 It honestly really shouldn't concern you in the slightest. Its there relationship, if that makes them happy - so be it. 1
BluEyeL Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I would do these things with friends. BUT It's up to her.
