NJ123 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 She said she's casually dating & been separated from her Husband. Not sure if I'd want to go through with it due to that. She also lives kinda far. And she's 11 years older than me. Just want advice as to what you would do in this situation.

Yeah, I was thinking that. But a FWB doesn't seem that big of a deal since she's been separated for months & in process of getting a divorce. She's been looking for a new place too so I don't think she's lying.

She's taller than me too & said she doesn't care that I'm shorter. She said yesterday she'll contact me sometime today to talk again, but she hasn't yet. If I don't hear from her at all today, than I'm just going to forget about it completely.

And she said she'd ideally like to have a LTR but doesn't want to until she's no longer officially married.

central Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Separated is fair game. FWB is NSA, no commitment. If you're unsure, maybe meet her and see if there's attraction. Since it would be FWB, you can end it anytime for any reason, too.

And I've seen she's been online on OKCupid, so maybe she just changed her mind completely. Oh well.

Still living with dear hubby but in the process of divorce isn't the same as actually having moved out and living on her own and in the process of divorce.

Honestly, not too sure if she's still living with him. She did say she's looking for a bedroom apartment since she "wants her space". So I don't know exactly the situation. But I haven't heard from her in a day & a half now so it's highly likely she's chatting with others instead of me.

I'm considering already deleting my profile honestly since it just feels like a waste of time. I just made a new one about a week ago, but it feels pointless being on there. I just hate the fact that I'm pretty much competing with literally 100s of others. You pretty much have to have everything going for you to stand out & be put at the top compared to the rest.
