nonplussed Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Hi I need some quick advice. I hung out with this girl once almost a year ago (saw a movie). Neither of us made any moves, she said she'll go out with me again but I never texted her back and she didn't text me either. I moved away for school soon after that and basically forgot about her (and I'm sure she barely remembers me), but I'm transferring back to my old school and I find myself thinking about her again. What can I text her to get her attention ? Something neutral like "Hi its me, remember me from last year?" Or maybe something wittier like, "I'm still waiting to hear what you think of that movie we saw" ? Any suggestions ?

If she responds, talk to her on the phone. Let her hear your voice, joke around with her, build a little rapport. Don't go back and forth via text. Ask her out over the phone, secure a date. Don't take her to the movies. Grab some pizza or sammich. Talk to each other and continue building a connection. 1
losangelena Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I guess you'll see how much she liked you based on her response. I reconnected with a guy six months after he disappeared. We went out twice and he disappeared again. Go figure.
