So I went to this bank a week ago to open new account.

this guy who helped me, about my age,, we had a great conversation for about an hour about my life..my culture (im originally from a different country)

I know his job is to give the best service to his customers..but I really enjiyed the conversation with him.. he showed interest in my culture, how he always wanted to visit there, he thought about plans to go there someday.. he asked me lots of questions and kept the conversation going.

days go by, nkthing happened.

then few days ago, he called me and reminded me to install banking mobile app.

this time we didn't talk further other than that. And he told me to call if theres any questions or I need help.

Maybe im over thinking.. but I was wondering, do bank people call their customers to remind them to install mobile app/or set up online account?

I would like to get to know him better and make the move, but I'm afraid maybe I'm paranoid..

what's your thoughts?

I have received phone calls from banks reminding me to sign up online, and/or asking to see if I've received a card, etc.

Why don't YOU ask him out yourself? Seems like you like the guy. Never hurts to ask and see; maybe he would like to go out for a cup of coffee?

Haha - calling you to remind you to install a mobile app? After talking to you for an HOUR at the bank? Either this guy is going for the Teller of the Year Award or he's hitting on you. :)

I definitely would be calling back to ask for help! Those mobile apps can be soooo tricky ;)

You have nothing to lose. Call him. You'll have to ask him out since he can't ask clients out. You need remedial tutoring about the app...over lunch, coffee, whatever.:p
