is the definition of a womens 'friend' imply that you bitch about them?

do all women lack a sense of direction? need to be told land marks and given direction. And if some one pointed to the place on a map and told em to drive there, would they struggle to read the map and be turning the map upside-down when they are travelling south?

do all women misunderstand some basic knowledges like jessica simpsons 'chicken of the sea'? (my girlfriend thought an olive was an animal when she said "eeww, im not eating that, i can see its poo hole")

Do all women honestly feel that men are responsible for their mistakes if the man is involved? eg. Reversing into boyfriends car while boyfriends car was parked in dark place - boyfriends fault for parking where she couldnt see, wouldnt hold up in court yet firmly believes its his fault

Dropping a plate of food due to trying to answer a ringing phone - its the boyfriend on the phone, yep, its the boyfriends fault.Even during PMS there is a feeling the boyfriend is to blame for the physical pain.

thats all i can think of for now.... what alse?

I don't know where to start with this one...

...ReluctantJuliette has an excellent sense of direction and is good at giving and receiving directions.

Some people - guys or girls - just have to blame others for their mistakes. It's not gender-related.

It obviously depends on the person. I know some guys who are like that. I for one, have a terrible sense of direction, I couldn't read a map but if I was there once I could go there again without the map. I guess I have a good memory.

As for 'chicken of the sea'...aahh, well I certainly knew what was meant by that. Maybe she's not used to eating it?? I don't know. Also, olives?? Maybe she's never been to a foreign country? Maybe she doesn't eat olives very often? Again, not really something that would confuse me.

It depends what you're used to. I think men are stupid when they don't know the difference between a dress and a skirt. They don't know the difference between stockings and tights.

Anyway I think it's natural to want to blame someone else for something when you know it's your own stupid fault. A lot of that would probably be embarrassment...But the PMS thing, no I don't think women blame men for that but I think they expect some sympathy. It's something men don't and couldn't really understand.

You know that old joke what bleeds for five days but doesn't die..? A woman.

Good Grief No!

I hope you are not dating someone like that.

Because men are saints.....

I've seen men leading me on in the wrong direction.... I probably know better how to read a map than you. :p

Now, I'm not sure how much that says about women in general, while it does make me wonder about the guy who choses a girlfriend who doesn't know what an olive is....

Yes, check your spelling and stop complaining about women.

Exactly. Not to mention a guy who will make assumptions about 'all women' based on a study sample of one.

the true beauty in women lies in the fact that each one is unique and different. that is why a man needs to sample as many women as he can!

alpha...*BIG SIGH*

I wonder if the situation was reversed, and us women on the board starting posting opinions about men ( like your quote above)......wouldn't the responses be : YOU BIG SLUT!

Please take no offence...I'm not upset, just resigning myself to the belief that double standards STILL exit. :(

What the...

Sorry your GF has some issues.. WTF Olives as animals uh?

Perhaps you end up with girls who aren't the brightest crayons in the box because it's what YOU EXPECT.

You probably shouldn't base your analysis of all women on a sampling of one who would categorize olives in the animal kingdom. :D

not from me! if someone of either sex can attract many mates that is great. the more people one experiences the richer their life will be and the more they will know.

And I thought people would become emotionally numb after a while.

I don't think you're being completely honest here....You know darn well that most women prefer to be in a committed relationship rather than having a revolving door of lovers. I'm generalizing, of course.

I think you're talking about your OWN desires, and women who feel that same way don't usually broadcast it - it's still frowned upon.

And I don't believe for a minute that you would choose a woman who feels it's important to attract as many mates as possible.

You know you deserve a lot more devotion than that. :bunny:

The universal truth about women.-- read this very carefully. ITS NEVER THEIR FAULT!!!!!! YOU ARE ALWAYS WRONG!!!!!!! PERIOD. Just ask any married man. And remember this---when a man's fear of loneliness overcomes his fear of bondage---the result is marriage! think about it.

Um slimjim. You related to Alpha at all? Wonder how many other 'unregistered' posters will chime in with that point of view?

WTF Olives as animals uh?

Come on!! Olive IS an animal....Ya know, the Reindeer everybody forgot about? After Rudolf? Xmas Special? :p

OK well I agree with Alpha, just minus the sampling bit. Us women are all special, unique and different. Yes we all have some similarities, just as men have similar qualities in them - But each of us, male/female are not the same.

ASSUME = ASS-U-ME.

Just irks me that some men think ALL WOMEN are exactly alike...Maybe it's your taste and the type of women you attract into your life.

You mean "Olive the other reindeer always used to call him names..."

I don't know about you guys, but I've never personally met a woman who was bad with directions.

Though I do joke that the men in my family only marry for a navigator on the road :p

that's cause you've only met 3 women, 7on! :laugh::p

my guess is that about 70 to 80% of women are bad with directions. from my own experience over 25 yrs.

OK I am good when I am driving...I will ADMIT, it took me a long time, many fights in the car too, to learn how to read a map properly! I am SO much better now and infact afew times my hubby nearly got us lost and if it wasn't for ME, we would have gotten lost! So there! NANANANANA!

I have always been nav in driving trips and have navigated myself and my driver flawlessly. When travelling, I go nowhere without a map and have managed my own self around major cities quite well. I do not enjoy driving while navigating, however.

What I am not good at is knowing compass directions inside buildings. Drives me nuts when they tell me to go to the 'south corner' of a building when I'm inside and can't orient myself to the sun.

Could it be, because you prefer big breasted blondes?

My mom knows how to navigate while my dad has no clue. And I would say I'm not bad either.I'm very bad with parking the car though...:laugh:

(Well, as a very small brunette I have to laugh!)

I'm weird with directions. I can drive around aimlessly and find my way home with ease. But with clear-cut directions from point A to point B, I somehow end up lost about 50% of the time.

Good thing some of these fancy new cars have all that GPS stuff...too bad I'll never be able to afford one!
