Why can't anyone feel sorry for EC? She was unhappy with the relationship. End of story. Its a lose-lose situation. She was unhappy then, he's unhappy now. The point is that she claims to love him. If your definition of 'love' is 'think about me first and then maybe about him later', then good luck in all your relationships. EC, that letter is what was needed. You don't just drop someone. Now you've explained what's going on in your head. He deserved that. And his answer, IMHO, was gold.
