Author CalmandCarryOn Posted December 21, 2014 Author Posted December 21, 2014 I'd give it another try. Set up to see her. Don't worry about her saying no, just ask her to do something. You have nothing to lose. That's true. I just don't understand why she sounded excited when I messaged her and then cut it off so fast. Asking another time will be the 3rd attempt (all declined due to homework and other plans)
Tonic Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Sorry to say but how you explained the conversation - it fizzled on your part. If the conversation went how you said, you hardly showed interest in what she was doing, yet she recalled that you mentioned about going to California and looking at schools. Just hit her up again, and at least make it sound as if you're genuinely interested in whats happening with her. What have you got to lose?

So me reaching out to see how she was doing over Christmas break isn't showing interest....
SomeDude16 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Pretty clear you have been hurt in the past and you're afraid of getting hurt again. I bet if i looked back through all your past posts this would be confirmed. This is probably why you are running all these worst case scenarios through your head over a small text conversation. Just send her a normal text like I know you are capable of. Stop worrying about what is going to happen a week from now and focus on the present situation and dynamic between you two.

What's up? I really screwed up yesterday but yeah- how's life today?" Not sure I can recover from yesterday's blunder...
