Guys, would you be able to date or love a woman that hates children and animals?

I have a colleague in the office who hates kids and animals. She is 51 and alone, has sex with other people's husbands. Keeps her self busy-busy probably so she does not have to think about her own life. I've known her for years and it always bothered me that she hates children and animals.



I wonder how guys view this and is she alone because she is a cold hearted ****? Would you be with someone who hates children and animals, cannot stand them...?

Pretty self explanatory don't you think......That's obviously why she goes for attached men.

Nope. One thing is to not want kids, another is to hate them.

 

The animals one is an absolute dealbreaker for me.

 

Obviously, also the part where she sleeps around with others' husbands.

I've known some men who hated kids and animals, so I'm sure it's not a dealbreaker for everyone...

If they dislike/hate no, don't want or can't have, fine.

 

My GF is allergic to may cat sadly. So every week I give the house a real good cleaning, spray around anti-allergins and put the cat in the basement when she comes over.

 

She doesn't hate my cat, doesn't hate animals, just can't be around them. At one time I thought that would be a deal breaker, until I met her. I guess as much of an animal lover as I am, I still care for this woman more. If it ever comes time for us to live together, a hard call will need to be made,.

I would guess she is someone who is very protective of her inner self and avoids stuff that could hurt her.

 

Kids and animals tug at the heart strings, avoiding them means she doesn't get hurt. Also if her relationships with men are just about sex and the man is married, there is no chance of a lasting meaningful relationship, therefore she doesn't get hurt.

Dating single available guys would mean she may fall in love and that means she may get hurt, so she goes for unavailable men and keeps her feelings under control. One goes she just replaces him with another.

 

I would guess at some point she was seriously emotionally hurt that may have been due to relationship issues or it may be in her childhood.

She has made herself strong by keeping busy and avoiding any chance of emotional trauma.

They also might not like her because she has sex with other peoples' husbands, she doesn't sound very likable to me even though I'm not a guy!!

The real question is would a man want to date a woman who has sex with other people's husbands? This woman has bigger problems than hating children and animals.

If I was just looking for a NSA hook up she'd be at the top of my call list.

 

If I was looking for a serious LTR or marriage as a single guy the animals would be the deal breaker for me.

 

If you were talking about real time now, the kids would be a deal breaker too because I have two minor children and wouldn't want them around a child hater.

 

Lots of guys don't want kids and don't want them around so there would be a lot of guys ok with that.

 

Some guys don't like animals so that would be fine with them as well.

 

So the bottom line here is that for hook ups, she is perfectly acceptable and perhaps even desirable as she won't have kids or cats getting in the way.

 

For actual relationships it would depend on the individual guy and whether he had or wanted kids or animals or not.

Odd that she only wants sex with married men when plenty of single men would have a one night stand with her.

I guess there's some people who just wanna observe you from a distance and make up their minds about you already w/o even knowing where you come from...But thanks elaine567 for reminding us that there's often more to the surface as to what we "think" is going on.

 

As if we single, unmarried, passionate women - who have no desire for kids - are lepers or something.

 

I wonder if it would be better if this colleague was out there: being a "slug", leeching off some guy cuz she's too scared and/or lazy to get her own stuff, having kids for "X" guys, shacking-up with guys, in a marriage where her this job takes her away from her kids family, in a marriage where she puts her husband and/or kids on the back burner, etc.?

I work with animals and I have 2 dogs. No I would not date them
