GarrusVakarian Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Is it really possible to get an ex back?. Basically I met a girl this year. I was dating her for over 5 months. We was going away at the end of August and had plans for the rest of the year. Beginning of August she called it off. She had just started new job and her old employer was making her new job difficult. Plus she was very career focused, she said that from the day I first met her. But it went from seeing her a few times a week to one if I was lucky. I tried to give her as much support as I could, but seemed like she didn't want to know. I thought I would give her some space, which was probably a mistake as last time I saw her it was quite tense. Was probably a mistake as a few days later she called it off. Said I wasn't a priority and her job was. She couldn't give me what I wanted, relationship. But she wouldn't say no to the future, whatever that meant?. But weird in the space of two weeks where it was going so well, us both celebrating our birthdays to it being over like that. A month or so later I returned her things, she made no attempt to collect them. She wasn't there but her lodger was. I came home a few days later to find things I left at her shoved through letterbox. She also blocked me on facebook, not really sure why?. I kind of decided to go NC on her to get over it. Went out had fun with friends, did my own thing and got on with my life. Had a few dates here and there. But my thoughts always seem to drift back to her and I cant think why?. I text her a few days ago to see how she was getting on. Never expected her to reply, but she responded. A few texts back and forth. Said to her if she wanted to catch up for a drink as friends sometime let me know. No reply yet to that. Really don't know why I am so bothered about her still that she plays on my mind all the time?.

Said to her if she wanted to catch up for a drink as friends sometime let me know. No reply yet to that. No reply, is a reply. It speaks volumes. Or, her phone ran out of credit...

All EXs will pop into your mind at one time or another. It's a function of memory. You reached out. She hasn't responded because she does not want to meet you for a drink or anything else but she also doesn't want to be mean so she's just ignoring you. Leave her be.
