It sounds so trite - but an affair with a MM is by it's very nature a rejecting relationship. Rejection yields a blow to your self-esteem. And, many of us (not all, but many) had self-esteem issues to begin with that allowed us to get into a relationship with someone who is not available or who doesn't give us a fraction of what we deserve. So...a big part of the fix is fixing our self-esteem. And spring is a great time to do it! Let's all commit to do something great for ourselves this week - work out, spend time with a great friend, enjoy the weather, open a nice bottle of wine, and do something nice for someone less fortunate than ourselves. Be kind and loving to ourselves and boost our self-esteem! OK sorry to sound like such a drunken cheerleader!
