dagur Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 So I met a guy a month ago at a party. He was really interested and ask me out. We went on a great first date and continued communicating almost daily on fb (mostly him initiating the conversations on fb, and asking me out). We met 4 more times, 3 of which were on campus. Two weeks ago he kind of backed off, saying he didn't have time to meet up the weekend and he didn't write/text much either. Then, last week we started texting more again, joking around etc. And he usually answers right away. He said he was sorry we couldn't meet last week and asked me if there was anything I wanted to do (last) Sunday. I was away for the weekend, so I suggested meeting this week. He then asked me to eat lunch with him yesterday (I was busy), so we had lunch together today. Today he said we just should meet up again this weekend. But I'm a bit confused what is going on between us, because while he would give me a small kiss or put his hand on mine after the first few dates, he didn't do it today when we had lunch... So, is he just playing games? Or have I been friendzoned? If he's not interested, why does he continue texting and suggesting to meet up?? Should I confront him?
Frank2thepoint Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Have you reciprocated his advances? Do you flirt with him at all, or is he just doing all the work? Have you considered initiating a date?
Author dagur Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Have you reciprocated his advances? Do you flirt with him at all, or is he just doing all the work? Have you considered initiating a date? At first I do admit he was doing most of the "work", but after the first few dates I reciprocated more. I did suggest we meet once, but he had to classes, and then that weekend when he was busy. The thing is that now I think it would be awkward to kiss him/touch him, what if he really isn't into me anymore?
Frank2thepoint Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 If you didn't touch him back when he was touching you, he may have picked it up as you aren't into him. Which could explain why he didn't try to touch you when you had lunch with him. I suggest you ask him out for a date, and once you get it, do some lite touching/caressing, the same thing he did to you before. Or at least what you are comfortable with. If he makes excuses that he is busy, then unfortunately he lost interest.
