I've been in a relationship from few months now and we really like each other and we're set to meet in 2 months, we've planned everything and I'm gonna be flying to her place. Everything has been great and I'm her first boyfriend. She's having holidays now and she went back to her country (parents house) and she mentioned, she needs to prepare for an exam in these 2 months. She said she doesn't have internet connection at home and she would contact me as soon as she gets a new internet. She was quite sad the day before she flew to her country because she told me she wouldn't be able to talk much and she can't think of getting separated from me. It's been a week now and no message, no call or anything from her. She's offline on facebook, skype and her number is switched off..Maybe, she has a new number now. I understand she's busy but she could spend 30 minutes to go to an Internet cafe to let me know she's busy. I really have feelings for her and I'm wondering why she hasn't contacted me yet- Met someone else? Decided to quit the relationship? Sick? I never got into relationships because of the fear of getting abandoned, it's my worst fear. And now, I'm afraid..she's going to leave me without a word. Why would she do this when everything was great? We've known each other for more than 7-8 months. Should I try to contact her real life friends? I'm seriously worried.

If you're worried, go and ask her friends. It's been a week. I think you shouldn't assume the worst yet as she had already told you that she do not have internet. Prolly she was stuck in the house or something happened so she couldn't get to a Internet cafe. There are many possibilities as to why she didn't contact you and i understand why you're worried as it's been a whole week. I think you could try to ask around if anything happened to her, provided that her friends already knew you. It would be kinda weird if some random stranger comes to me asking about my friend. I would tell her honestly that it hurts me, if not you'll build up resentment as it's clearly affecting you. Communication is important in a ldr and keeping it to yourself won't help. Just tell her nicely. I guess it would be pretty weird if you asked her friends. Drop her an email stating that you're worried and hope she is doing fine. I know it's hard but try not to panic. Wait for a few more days.
