Your Mother shouldn't determine what you do with your life and when you do things.

......

I don't have any advice... just don't bend with the pressure..

I heard it half my life too, a funny thing came up this Thanksgiving at our get together and that was how many different GF's I brought to Turkey dinner in my single past.. it was almost a new one each year

I know.. but with my Mom you have to be ready to live with the past and not sweep it under the rug, pictures and all.

I can't even imagine my mom saying something like that to me. She don't get to dictate when I should have a child

Tell me about it.

I'm also now currently accepting LS girlfriend submissions. Must be ready to alter your user name to Mrs. Nate.

Different girls at different thanksgivings, mine was a different girl at Thanksgiving, a second for Christmas, and a third for New Years Day.

At age 25, being the first born of a dozen grandchildren, and the only one able to pass on the family name, I began to get a lot of very heavy pressure from mom, grandma, aunts and uncles to marry and start a family. Especially being as my younger sister by 3 years had already provided the first grand baby. Aunts and uncles were worried I was setting a bad example for my cousins. They did not like me dating lotsof different girls. My grandma more than once reminded me that as a nurse she had seen lots of naked bodies, and they were all basically the same. Only my grand dad said "Leave the boy alone, he knows what he is doing."

Most of my family are blonde and blued eyed, so they were quite excited at age 26 I brought over a blue eyed blonde nurse to several family functions. It reached a point where my mom and sister were taking her along when they went shopping. And the three of them were already secretly planning a wedding.

At age 27, it was love at first sight when I met a Mexican gal. That upset the family apple cart. My grand pa once patted her on her butt, and said "The boy knows what he is doing" A couple of years later, my mom finally gave in when I heard her tell her how she wanted more grand babies. But alas by that time, my then fiancé older sister did not like her younger sister dating a non Hispanic and was working on breaking us up. Which she succeeded in doing the following year.

That was followed by lots of new girl friends for another 5 years, even more family pressure. That was part of the reason I agreed to marry my Ex, it lasted a whole 6 months.

Thankfully, my dad's way younger by a dozen years brother finally came through with an heir. Which cut me out of some inheritance at the passing of my grand parents. Enough so that they could by a house to raise the one year old great grand child.

Okay, I looked and didn't find a future Mrs. Nate application form. Hurry up because all of us ls women want to fill one out!

Just make sure you list your disclaimers at the top of the application ie; Divorcees and/or over 40 need not apply...

...look at that, I just took myself out of the running. ;)

Can't you just get your Mom a goldfish or something to start with?

Good thing i have 2 other male cousins who can carry on the family name.

32yrs old and i get the same hints ... but i'm planning great things, lifechanging things.

I'm gonna buy a motorbike ... that should make them feel more comfortable, right ???

Also x should be included in the domain [18, 22) ... definitely bounded on the 18.
