He's just not reticent like society expects men to be. any tips? Focus on the girls that seem to like it. Ignore the girls that don't, because you will never be able to please them. The girls that like your cheesy style, what do you do to maintain their interest? Or what have you done that pushed them away? Have you ever flirted, showed interest, tried to secure a date with them? Why do you fall for a girl?

Do you act that way because you're truly being genuine and nice? Or do you do it hoping it may cause her to look at you in some way and make her interested? Lot of supposed nice guy's actually ned up having the same goal as the jerks. They just take longer. But this might not be you at all. In that case, stay true and genuine, because eventually a girl will notice. But you want to stay away from girls that are into the unavailable/jerky type

You are only limiting yourself with such negative thinking. I'm an expressive man and I'm not afraid to show myself to a woman. If they like it, great. If not, oh well, moving on. Second, stop sending random messages. Send meaningful, flirtatious messages. Keep it the short, sweet, and genuine. Don't do it all the time, definitely not random. Also, flirt with them over the phone. Once you do that, ask the girl out for some hot cocoa or pizza. Don't do movies, because you want to talk to her and build rapport. 1

Can't respond to a text too soon because then they look too desperate or have to play it cool, etc, etc. I personally find guys like that really boring. Would love to meet someone comfortable enough in their own skin to just go with it and not put so much thought into how everything appears.

Instead go find some hobbies, excel at your career or studies and find friends to catch up with. In essence, you are keeping yourself busy and the relationship becomes better balanced. I think the problem with today's relationships is that people become too co-dependent and not have enough time away from their relationships because lets face it, absence makes the heart grow fonder and gives you time to live YOUR life. At the end of the day it is all in YOUR head mate. You decide to obsess over a girl. You decide if next time she crosses your mind, you simply have a happy chuckle instead and continue on with what you are doing.

Don't even bother. A flirtatious text you can send is "I just heard a song that reminds me of you." Let the girl respond, and ask what the song is. Make sure the song is something sweet or funny. Also, you should be sending text that ask when the girl is available to go out with you.
