I think it really depends. If the woman you are crushing on is into you too then no she won't find it creepy. She may find it kind of cute that you sneak glances at her and then quickly look away when she catches you. If she's not into you then yeah I can understand why she would feel creeped out by that.

I think ultimately it depends on her interest level in the guy. If she is crushing back then she'll find it cute and may even signal through her body language in a way that encourages him to do more looking later (as long as its not long stares).

Also for some women if they are not into the guy she may not be creeped out by it necessarily but she may make fun of him and use what he's doing for an ego boost and to go have a good laugh with all of her girlfriends. She might say to all her girlfriends "Oh look at that poor little sap daydreaming about something that is never going to happen".

No, it's not creepy.

Staring without blinking, on the other hand, yes, it is creepy.

Sneaking glances & getting a positive response is cute but if you can see the other person getting uncomfortable, continuing is creepy.

Also where you are doing the sneaking plays a role. If you are peeking into her bedroom yeah, that's creepy / illegal. A sideways glance when you see her in public possibly cute.

It all depends, in my bad boy player days, I found that when first meeting a woman, to look her in the eye, then let her see my eyes travel down the length of her body and then back to eye contact. From there, you could go in several directions. Such as a silent "Wow", or perhaps, a more direct, "Do you ever fool around on the first date?"

One big NO-NO, especially woman with larger breasts, is the guy who talks to her bosom. Most woman find that extremely creepy

Indeed! In another thread I think you were advocating wearing sunglasses to look at other women. That sounds creepy.

No the sunglasses thing is not creepy because you can't tell if someone is looking at you when they have sunglasses on. It is like having tinted windows in a car. They can see you from the inside but you can't see them from the outside. And even if someone wears sunglasses and looks in your direction you don't know that they are looking at you but something else or someone else in your general direction.

Is it creepy when a guy sneaks looks at a woman?

You're right, it depends...

Pre-1990(-ish):

You had to be a multiply-convicted pedo in order to draw the label "creepy"

Post-1990(-ish):

If you know where her locker is, you're creepy.

If you know where she lives, you're creepy.

If you know her homeroom, you're creepy.

If you so much as 'notice' her out jogging, you're creepy.

If you know who her brother is, you're creepy.

If her father shops at the grocery store where you work, you're (somehow) creepy.

(and now we can add)

If you stare without blinking your eyes, you're creepy.

(the inference being that you can ogle all you want as long as you blink, you big creeps)

So it's not creepy if nobody finds out? Okay. :rolleyes:

No no no. I'm an ornithologist and there was a rare bird on your roof that I was watching. The fact that your bedroom window happened to be in the field of view was entirely co-incidental!

Wait one sec, some of the things you listed is steps/knowledge a person would collect if they are trying to learn about someone and/or find an opportunity to chat them up

Creepy is:

-Setting up hidden cameras in her home;

-Taking videos of her in the shower and/or in another compromising situation;

-Stealing her panties - especially wearing them;

-"Staking out" her place;

-Hijacking her social media, email, etc.

Get my drift?!?

Yes, ultimately, "creepy" is in the eye of the object of the person's affection.

Wrong! If you blink too much it's still creepy.

I think it isn't nearly as creepy as ignoring a woman in person and then writing a bunch of threads on here recording and analyzing her every single action, and plagiarizing Doc Love. Now THAT'S effin' creepy!

And that makes it even creepier. Starring is one thing. Making sure you are not caught starring so you can stare more is scary...

If it was Cumberbatch with a magnifying glass?

I wear eyeglasses. They are the kind that change to sunglasses when I go outside. It is usually when I am outside that I can get away with sneaking looks at my crush without her noticing. I don't even really look in her direction when I am outside. I turn my head just enough so it appears I am looking at something to the right or left of her. But with my glasses lenses going dark outside nobody can see what my eyes are looking at. So it is when she is outside that I take advantage of my chances to get my fix for the day.

She wears sunglasses outside too so I can't even be sure she looks at me when catching her looking in my direction when my back is turned to her. For all I know she could be looking at something behind me.

No matter who is wearing sunglasses, how can you tell what direction she's looking in when your back is turned to her? Or maybe you have some super special sunglasses?

I'm talking about when I turn around quickly and see her looking in my direction.

Um, no, you are confused... that stuff is criminal behavior.

Not too much raw crime goes on in Middle Schools.
