Yes, that's right. I went no contact for a month. Next thing you know, I screw no contact and I started appearing at her house to deliver things from my mom to her mom - and next thing you know we start talking. By the third time I came around, we snuggled and kissed. Three days later, she calls the arsehole she left me for and tells him its over, she misses me.

Then for two weeks, we started seeing each other reasonably often. Then she tells me she needs to be really alone with her family and herself and tells me that my psychologist is right that I need to have a fling or two to balance out the fact that she cheated on me. She says that its the best for both of us , if we want to start anew. I ask her what would have happened if I had not come back into her life by choice (as in no contact), she says she doesn't know - which probably means we would never have gotten back together.

So basically what I'm trying to say is that be CAREFUL when you're taking advice about the no contact thing. The opposite might just work, or you need to have a balance. Now we are in no contact with each other mutually.

She tells you that she wants to be alone and away from you, suggests that you sleep around, and are currently in 'mutual' no contact?

I'm not sure how it is you are certain that you 'have your ex back'.

She has also got a restraining order on him (to make things more exciting) and is planning to move to the other side of the world (so they can have meaningful phone conversations). She has pencilled the first call in for March 2009, so it's a real commitment.

Seriously, good luck Broken. I hope you don't need it.
