That's my point, if someone isn't going to find me attractive, it might as well be the hot ones that reject me. ;-) If someone's going to reject me, it may as well be the hot ones. 1

Popsicle Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Simple. If one method of dating is harder for someone, then that person should seek an easier (or more effective) method. For those in what I considered the bottom percentiles, I feel there are better ways to meet people than OLD. The problem lies in that those who recognize that OLD is tougher for them will often languish in that defeat rather than seek and attempt alternative methods. So yes, they fall into the comforting trap of feeling sorry for themselves. But for those who have the drive to meet someone, winning this "contest" will open them up to trying other means and giving them better chances of winning their prize. Well, I do agree that if OLD is not working for you, then it's best to try other means.
