About a week ago, a guy that was interested in me asked me to be his girlfriend and I told him that we are better off being friends. I really think he probably moved on by now but is still nice to me after I turned him down. I like him for his personality and I feel guilty about turning him down. He is the only guy that is interested in me. I don't find him attractive at all but I am interested in other guys. How can I stop feeling this way?

he is moving on .....so you didnt cut him down you rejected him with compassion obviously......you cant help who you are attracted to and who you are not just like he cant.......i think gentle rejection is a far better approach so guys dont take it to heart

one thing my mum told me is dont believe that there is only one person attracted to another.....there are many......attractions develop....sometimes quickly sometimes not.....that helps me to not acept dates with guys who ask.....because i know soemthign better than me for them is around their corner

as far as guys go ...i have a few hit on me.......i dont have to do anything for this to happen....it just happens......if i dont feel anything i dont lead them on...seems like you dont either...thats a good thing......good luck ...deb
