Proko Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Hi, So I have this friend, he told me I was beautiful and asked me on a date a while back. We have met a few times before, he took me to dinner once and cooked for me once, but I didn't know what his intentions were. I just want him as a friend right now. He's not a bad looking guy, a bit big, but very funny, sweet, smart and kind. I just don't feel amazing sparks with him. So he said we could still be friends. I mean honestly, I think I could do better... He had me at a birthday party, there were about 30-35 people there, and more than half girls were there for his party. Anyway, another one of his friends flirted with me some. He was interesting, he could speak a few languages I could, and kinda cute. Well, we left without exchanging info. I asked my friend if he would give me his contact info and my friend got mad at me. Gave it to me, then told me that if this is the kind of guy, a weird drunk space cadet, I'd go on a date with, that I am a stupid shallow girl (this guy is a bit skinnier than him, and kind of funny kind of attractive). At first I was mad at him (I didn't respond to the message) but I calmed down but he hasn't talked to me since and I have sent him a couple messages. The thing was, I went out with this other guy, and my friend was right. He was kind of weird, a bit spacy, and a little insecure... I didn't notice this stuff at the party. I feel bad because it's not like I chose this guy only for his looks. We did have some fun laughs as well at the party. Any chance I can save my friendship? What if I totally humble myself? That say he was completely right, this guy was a dbag? Thank you
Assasda Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Why would you want to save this friendship based on jealously. hahahaha You have an orbiter around you, that you friendzoned, and you think that he's your friend. He's not. What he is, is a yes man. And a protector of all things YOU. Go get a real friend

Plus, he has been at parties where I talked to other guys and he never gets jealous, he usually just does his own ****, talks to girls and what not. When I leave, he usually is his normal self. This was the first time he ever got mad, and I didn't think he would.

He's a yes man. Deep down you dont respect him, but he might be a good time, and youre his number one superstar, so I cant blame you. Real friend though... I dont think so

I dont think so For a yes man (If I understand it correctly), he is not accepting my apology Besides, he doesn't just do anything I ask. A lot of times he is busy when I ask him to do things. I know two of them who like him, so I know not all of them friendzoned him. I don't think he's quite the push over you think he is. :-/
