What does it mean when a guy says he has feelings for you but the timing is not right to be together? He still wants to talk but for what?...and he keeps sending mixed signals. I don't know what to do..I'm confused.

He enjoys your company (whether it be sexual or platonic), but doesn't want to be in a relationship.

Doesn't want to be in a relationship with me? Or is not ready to be in a serious relationship?

Do you think it's a cop out excuse? Well, when you ask someone if they have feelings for you doesn't that usually mean more than friends?

He likes you but doesn't want to commit, he wants he's option open.

he may be in a relationship and doesn't beleive in cheating (there are men like that out there) so he's telling you the truth - it's bad timing

ask him yourself what he means, I have a feeling he will tell you

Is he single?

Is he still getting over his last relationship?

He said that he isn't in a relationship and he is not dating anyone. He said that he is tired of girls and wants to have fun and do his own thing.

We use to date but i broke up with him for the same reason. It's weird though because we are very compatible and really enjoy each other's company. I just don't know if i should stop talking to him or continue to be friends. I am scared that he may find someone else...

Thanks for the replies!

Then you gotta listen to what he's saying. Not his flirty actions.

It's up to you if you want to continue being friends, but bear in mind you have no control whether he decides to date you again, or finds someone else. Don't be waiting in line for him.

I think it means they are not emotionally prepared for a relationship
